I am offering cooking lessons to anyone who loves food and wants to learn more about it! The lessons will be hosted at my kitchen space located inside Savvy Chow, Washington D.C. Large groups are welcome! I can host up to 14 people.
Private cooking lessons in the comfort of your own home are available upon request with a minimum of 6 people. Please email me for more details.

Important Notice!- Hello everyone, starting on November 1st, 2025, I will no longer be hosting classes at Savvy Chow. My New location is actually a few minutes’ drive away from my current location. The new location is at Blossom Bakery and Cafe at 1823 West Virginia Avenue, NE, Washington, DC 20002. The new venue will now allow BYOB in my classes, so please feel free to bring your own Wine, Beer, or Sake starting November 1st. Please, no Liquor. I hope to see you all there!
Seasonal salad with fresh herbs, lettuce, vegetables, and a light vinaigrette
Pappardelle or Garganelli pasta with a spicy tomato chicken ragu/ vegetarian option is available
Ricotta-filled Agnolotti or Tortellini pasta with Parmesan garlic cream sauce
Pan con Tomate- Toasted sourdough bread with fresh tomato, olive oil, and garlic dressing
Gambas al Ajillo- Shell on Shrimp roasted in olive oil, garlic, chilies, and lemon juice
Chicken and Seafood Paella- Chicken, seafood, seasonal vegetables, saffron
Seasonal Vegetable Maki Roll - variations may include Cucumber, avocado, mango, or tempura bell pepper
Spicy Maki Roll-Tuna with cucumber, spicy chili sauce, and yuzu mayo
Shrimp Tempura Roll- Deep-fried shrimp roll with avocado, sesame seeds, and eel sauce
Salmon Roll with Avocado and Asparagus- Salmon, avocado, asparagus, and spicy mayo rolled in sesame seeds
Hand rolls- custom hand rolls
Ceviche- Seasonal fish marinated in lime juice, garlic, chili peppers, and red onion
Arepa con queso- Griddled Venezuelan corn cake filled with melted cheese
Arepa con carne- Griddled Venezuelan corn cake filled with steak, guacamole, sweet fried plantain, and cheese
Espresso chocolate ganache bonbons
Passion fruit chocolate ganache bonbons
Sea salt chocolate ganache bonbons
Take home 20-25 bonbons per person
About the lessons:
Lessons consist of demos, instruction, hands-on cooking, and a completed meal at the end of each class.
Prices generally range from $90 to $105 per person, depending on the specific class and ingredients. Classes are usually 2-2.5 hours long.
Classes are BYOB; feel free to bring your own wine, beer, or sake. Please, no liquor.

Parking- There is a parking lot in front of the bakery, and there is street parking in the area as well
Cancellation Policy- Cooking classes are nonrefundable if canceled within 24 hours of the event. Ingredients for the class are purchased the day of or the day before the event. If you cancel before the 24-hour cut-off off then it can be rescheduled or fully refunded.
