Jordan Chestnut

Although I have been cooking professionally for the past fifteen years I feel that my career is just beginning. I have much more to learn and certainly plan to for the rest of my life. Some of my experiences as a chef include working at Vine Street Cafe in the Hampton's and Eleven Madison Park, a three Michelin star restaurant in NYC. These experiences not only taught me how to use food as an art form, but how to combine flavors and aromas in a captivating way. Working with food and chefs from all around the world under one roof was truly an incredible experience. The techniques, hard work, and ingredients that I was exposed to were almost unreal. Over the last few years, I have been able to travel to Japan, Spain, Latin America, Indonesia, and the Caribbean to truly experience the people and culture. This has allowed me to develop my own style of cooking which comes from family, and friends, traveling and working in both casual and fine-dining restaurants. I personally love comfort food and open-fire cooking which almost always comes through in my cooking.
